Here's a wonderful drawing from our great friend Debbie Anne Perry that's apropos to our times.
Notice he's reading a hardcover edition of "Captain Retro Duck"!
I never even knew Fantagraphics put out "Disney Masters Volume 402 Romano Scarpa and Joe Torcivia: Captain Retro Duck Retros Again"!
A worthy companion it would be to these prestigious volumes...
The least they could have done was let me write an intro!
Back to the response of Donald (DUCK, that is...)
Considering he's never been the poster-duck for calm... except for this one instance directly below...
...As opposed to his normal state...
...I'd say he's taking this all rather well!
Let's all try to follow his example, as best we can!

Always lovely to see some new comic art by Debbie, whether Duck-based or Fluffy and Mervin! And at least now Donald has an ironclad defence against Scrooge possibly trying to rope him into yet another 30-cents-an-hour madcap adventure… Not that Scrooge is likely to be taking it too harshly either; he can just spend his self-isolation swimming around in his Money Bin like a porpoise — alone!
(…But Debbie, if you're reading this — what the dickens is up with the Fluffy and Mervin website? None of the old links on Joe's blog to specific comics work anymore, and if the handwritten year dates in the comics are anything to go by, the ones currently visible on www.fluffyandmervin.com aren't in any kind of chronological order…)
Lovely drawing - and we quite agree that everyone ought to stay at home. Why, even we, the Ennead of the Eigengrau Easter Eggs, are practicing proper social distancing - we had our annual Easter feast with the Society of the Rhyming Doves over video this year!
Happy Easter, and be safe!

You write: “Not that Scrooge is likely to be taking it too harshly either; he can just spend his self-isolation swimming around in his Money Bin like a porpoise — alone!”
And, at this time, he’s less likely to have his Bin assaulted by The Beagle Boys or Magica DeSpell!
Notice that even the MOUSE is self-quarantining inside his mouse hole. Talk about “Not a creature was stirring…, etc.”
I’m quite sure Debbie will see your message soon, and give some idea of what’s what!
You should see more of her stuff very soon… We’re presently in negotiations! :-)
Ennead:
Your "virtual Easter Egg roll" must have been a barrel of laughs!
Then again, it's probably easier - and neater - to color Easter Eggs by computer than with liquid dye.
Fluffy and Mervin’s website got knocked out a few years back, and the old links won’t work, sadly. Everything that IS there is in a random order. Sorry about that...
"You should see more of her stuff very soon… We’re presently in negotiations! :-)"
Looking forward to it! From what I've seen, I love Fluffy and Mervin! Debbie, I'm not sure if you publish Fluffy and Mervin comics or if it's only a hobby, but if it's the latter, I'd strongly encourage you to self-publish them! The artwork and gags are first-rate.
I couldn’t agree more, Sergio!
I love Debbie’s work, and that’s why it will always have a special at this humble Blog.
