Here's the one I wish I had written:
"That cwazy wabbit--you know who, is loose again, in a place that's new! BUGS BUNNY COUNTY FAIR only 25 cents at your favorite Dell Comics dealer"
Of course, with my love of rhymes this one would be a natural for me--either to like or possibly to write. It appeared on the next-to-last page of my all-time favorite Bugs Bunny comic book. (Which one? I'll provide one hint--the cartoon "What's Up, Doc?" covered a similar topic but less comprehensively and with more running gags.)
Of course, the issue advertised is a great one--but I didn't get to read it in its entirety until several decades after "inheriting" the Dell comic in which the ad appeared.
Point is, I totally get the appeal of those Woody Woodpecker ads, having had the rhyme in this similar ad bouncing around in my head for all of these years. I think I like all of those comic-strip sized Dell ads. But then, who wouldn't?

I can’t help but feel that the decline and eventual elimination of ads like these only hastened the demise of funny animal comics in the USA. They really were appealing.
