A NYCC 2012 Moment # 2.

At the 2012 New York Comic Con, I attended both the IDW comics panel (go buy IDW’s POPEYE comic – it’s great!) and the JUDGE DREDD panel, which touched on the new JUDGE DREDD comic that IDW is going to publish. 

At the DREDD panel, the topic arose on possible crossovers for JUDGE DREDD.  You know… “Judge Dredd vs. (Fill-in-the-Blank)!” 

He REALLY IS The Law, you know...

I offered that, since IDW already publishes a superb POPEYE comic, they should do … “Judge Dredd vs. Popeye!”… and title it “I YAM the LAW!”   

Get it?  …“I *YAM* the LAW”?!  …Huh, get it?  …Huh?  …“YAM” ...Like Popeye would say it?
