This week will bring UNCLE SCROOGE # 403, featuring “The Pelican Thief” by Romano Scarpa, and American English script by yours truly. This one had a LONG journey from script to publication, as I submitted my first draft on January 28, 2010. All my other scripts have had much shorter windows -- including one that was published in LESS THAN A MONTH of script completion!
There are some political references that were more reflective of the landscape then, and in the immediate period prior, than now. But, they still work, as do the pop culture references I also loaded it up with.
But, more on that and other aspects of the story will be coming this Wednesday, the on-sale date! See you then!
