Happy Mother's Day to Grandma Esther! Who has brought all kinds of light into your life!
And grandmas have a much more prominent place in Duck comics than mothers do, don't they? Donald's grandma is the sole mother figure for him and the boys, the Beagles had a Granny long before DuckTales gave them a Ma, and even Magica has a Granny! So I figure it's only fitting that it was your Grandma Millie, not a parent, who introduced you to comics! Everyone who enjoys this blog has reason to be grateful to her today. Happy Mother's Day, Grandma Millie! Thanks for the comics!

Thank you so much for the good wishes for me and all the lights of my life! They were here today, and we all had a great celebration, honoring the greatest and brightest “light”, Esther, without whom none of the rest of this would exist for me!

And, in something only a special friend like you would think of, you even set a place at the Mother’s Day table for Grandma Millie! How wonderful!
