Coming this Week: MICKEY MOUSE # 6 from IDW!

The wait is almost over!  This Wednesday, November 04, 2015 will see the release of MICKEY MOUSE # 6 (Legacy Numbering # 315) from IDW – and its lead story Plan Dine from Outer Space”, written and drawn by the great Andrea "Casty" Castellan, and with a dialogue assist from me.

This is the best story I’ve had the honor to work with at IDW (...and, given the great quality of the IDW line, that's SAYING SOMETHING!), and I hope you’ll think so to.

There will be a longer, more detailed post for this issue once it is released.  Story-specific comments may be directed to that post, once you read the issue!  I’ll see you all there!

Meanwhile, have a look at this.  It’ll make you wish Wednesday was today!

Coincidently enough Casty's first new story since april is being published in this week's issue of topolino. http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=I+TL+3127-1. ... And yes I can't wait till Wednesday. At least IDW releases their preview on Issuu tomorrow.

So, this coming week there is both a “New to the USA” Casty story – and a “New to the World” Casty story? How about that!

HERE is Clapton’s link for greater ease of reading!

Just note that “Plan Dine from Outer Space” is Casty’s story AND art, while this new tale is story only. I’ll happily take either one - but “Double the Casty” is always better!

The best story you've worked with? Even better than The Duckburg $100 or The Perfect Calm? Better than Captain Retro-Duck Walkie-Talkies, bad goat jokes and strangely charming yetis? This I've gotta see!

In my personal view, Deb… Yes!

And, when I say that, I refer to the original source material… not anything I may have added to it along the way, such as the things you mention.

Casty did a MAGNIFICENT job with this, and I only hope he might somehow find my American English version a fraction as impressive as I found his original work!

Please let us know what you think, when the actual issue-specific post goes up.
