Where’s WHO?

Briefly, for the New York Jets fans among the readership…

There should be a sequel to this comic (and the forgotten show upon which it was based) called…

Where’s Santonio?”

Good luck to the New York Giants (the NY team left standing) in the playoffs!

Would you believe I actually remember that TV show. IIRC, it aired in prime time in the late 1960's or maybe very early 1970's. The characters were very similar to the Flintstones and Rubbles (except the sidekick's wife was more of a stereotypical dumb blond). And Paul Lynde (or a good impressionist imitating him) played their prissy neighbor. It scares me no end that I know and recall all this stuff.

Well, yes… I’d like to believe that SOMEONE, other than my solitary self, remembers WHERE’S HUDDLES! …And that my memories, and the very few comic books, are not my imagination acting up!

Has it EVER been seen after its original run, I wonder?

It really was Paul Lynde, who was doing voices for H-B at the time (in shows like “The Perils of Penelope Pitstop”), though I think John Stephenson later did impressions of him in other shows.

And it was a “summer replacement series” (remember THAT concept?) for 1970.

I don't remember ever seeing Huddles again after its original run. There were probably too few episodes for a syndication package. And, yes, I remember summer replacement shows-Everly Brothers, Kraft Music Hall, and that cult classic, Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner.
