You Can Help Shape the Future of TIAH BLOG!

Three posts back, in the comments section of the “Disney Comics Invade Prime Time TV!” post, reader Joecab stated that this Blog was much easier to read when I simply posted bolded white text on my black background. I thank “Joe” for the feedback, and the opportunity to reconsider how I present this Blog.

As a result, I used the same style for the two posts that followed, concerning The Simpsons.

NOW, IT’S TIME TO PUT THE QUESTION TO YOU FORMALLY!

How many of you feel I should continue this way? How many of you feel I should revert to
on-and-off bolding and multi-colored text? And how many of you see a noticeable difference one way or the other.

Let’s have some comments, please!

And, for those who might be disappointed that all I did tonight was ask a question on the formatting of this Blog… here are some gratuitous – and illustrated – mentions of Disney Comics, The Simpsons, and DVDs.

Never say I leave my readers wanting! :-)

I have to agree, I'm not a big fan of the multiple colors for text. Makes the content harder to read.

Joe,

The multi-colored text is fine with me, but it's hard to tell the difference between bold and non-bold white text. I'd stick to boldfacing all text and selecting CAPS or different colors when you want to emphasize something.

It’s looking like BOLD WHITE on BLACK, with minimal colors – only for emphasis! Any more votes?

You already know where I stand: the white on black looks nice, but as far as my RSS feeder is concerned, I can do without the lighter colors like yellow and cyan.

Thanks again, Joe. And thanks for starting the (bold white on black) ball rolling in the first place!

I think we’re headed toward a winner… even though I used five words of yellow in the Star Trek Enterprise post.

How do you all feel about my use of Dark Red to begin and end a post? Again, as in the Enterprise post?

At TIAH Blog, we’re nothing else if not democratic!
