It’s a shame that, arguably, the best three teams in the AL are in this division – and one will be left out of the post season. In fact, I’m looking PAST the All Star Game toward the Yankees / Rays series this weekend. That WILL be good!

I’ll stop just short of “wishing you luck” this weekend! You understand… :-)

Esther and I both share your view on Doc Gooden! MAN! What he would have been!

Though I’m decidedly a Yankees fan, I also enjoy the Mets. That’s just one more great thing about living in New York… you get AL and NL, and AFC and NFC!

Glad to hear you also enjoyed the Disney Comics letters. I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed doing them!

The best part about it was its leading to scripting assignments for both Gemstone and Boom! In every case, I tried very hard to add humor and other aspects to each story that was not there in the original script. (Hope I succeeded!) I still have some “unpublished work” on Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck out there that I hope finds a home soon.

Please stop back any time!

Joe.Joe Torciviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00421096229407174474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5408368436169661319.post-66501711341813763812010-07-12T23:18:22.389-04:002010-07-12T23:18:22.389-04:00Hey Joe,

Finally, you strike on another love of mine, baseball. I am a Rays fan, living in beautiful St. Petersburg, but I love ALL baseball. I can't WAIT to see how this season plays out. It will definitely be a nail-biter. Sad to say, I was a Sox fan until we got a team, as my dad is from New England. Now, I can't stand the Sox or the Yanks, but not really. I LOVE our division. It will always be the toughest division in baseball. Good luck to you. The Yankees are a fantastic team, with a bunch of great players. I always liked the Mets too. My only regret is that Doc Gooden never realized his potential. He could've been such a GREAT pitcher. Quacks at you.
